So you’re ready to go out and get that awesome experience? It could be a summer or part time job, perhaps a co-op position or even your first full time job after graduation but you’re not sure of your resume or perhaps you don’t have one yet. Here’s a look at the most common style of resume that would be applicable to students and new graduates with limited work exp

Profile – in this area, you should include some highlights of your skills and accomplishments. Include at least 5 points such as: PROFILE

Education – this is the area to include all of your educational accomplishments. Be sure to highlight any courses that are related to the position you are applying for and want to bring to the attention of the employer. EDUCATION 2005- 2009 University of Toronto – Bachelors of Commerce in Marketing Courses Include: Intro to Management Functions, Intro to Economics, Principals of Marketing, Operations Management, Organization Design, List your relevant courses. If you are a student and are applying for a co-op, summer or part time position, you can structure your resume as follows. This will give the employer an idea regarding your future post secondary plans as well. |

Below are some key words to utilize when describing your experience. You may use these words more than once and be sure to include at least 5 points to describe all of your duties.
